Cameron Deavin hails from Launceston, where his parents work as a music teacher and a nurse. Cameron completed a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts (majoring in criminology) at the University of Tasmania in 2018 and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at the University of Tasmania in 2019. He was admitted to the Supreme Court of Tasmania as an Australian Lawyer in August 2019 and to the High Court of Australia in November 2019. Cameron is working in a diverse range of legal areas, with a keen interest in criminal law. He is eager to work with an empathetic viewpoint to aid his clients however he is needed, both in and out of court. In his spare time Cameron is a keen pianist who enjoys performing all music, from Beethoven to Bowie.
