Joanne Bragg grew up on a dairy farm in Circular Head. After working in the Property Management Department of a real estate agency for a decade, Joanne completed a Bachelor of Laws with Honours at the University of Tasmania in 2009 and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at the University of Tasmania in 2010. She was admitted to the Supreme Court of Tasmania as an Australian Lawyer in August 2010 and to the High Court of Australia in September 2010. Joanne has worked previously at a major Hobart law firm and has a wide range of practice experience in commercial law, property law, employment law, and wills and estates as well as experience in criminal law matters and civil litigation. Joanne is continuing to work in a wide range of legal areas, whilst focusing on family law and is now actively practicing in this area. She is undertaking a Masters of Laws (Applied Law) in Family Law, is on the executive of the Family Law Practitioners Association of Tasmanian and is a member of the Family Law section of the Law Council of Australia. A client focused approach is used by Joanne to assess her client’s needs and assist them with the problem or project currently before them. Joanne lives with her husband and family in Wynyard and enjoys reading, running, travelling and spending time with her family.
